The card was given as a free premium
with the purchase of a pack of 20 “Vice Regal”
or “Three Castles” cigarettes.
This card was issued in the UK by John Player & Sons in 1938.
It is card number 13 from a set of 25 cards entitled “Zoo Babies”.
The front of the card shows an attractive artist drawn
representation of a llama and baby.
The card was given as a free premium with the purchase
of a pack of 20 “Player’s” cigarettes.
This trade card was issued in 1922

This alpaca card was issued in the UK
by J. A. Pattreiouex Ltd. in 1925.
It is card number A188 from a set of 50 cards
known as “Animal Studies”.
These two cards were issued by Gallaher in 1921 in a series titled “Animals and Birds of Commercial Value”.
The above trio of trade cards was issued by Horniman’s Tea, Harden Bros. (tea)
and Kane Products Ltd. (confectionery) in the years between 1954 - 61.
The two larger cards depict llamas, the small one, guanacos.
This trade card was issued by Jacob’s Biscuit Co. in 1924
on the theme of the zoo.
The same card was issued by Typhoo Tea Ltd. in 1932.
This trade card was issued in 1926
by Wills Cigarettes.
This card pair was issued in the UK by R. & J. Hill Ltd. in 1924.
They are card numbers 25 and 47 from a set of 50 cards entitled “Zoological Series”.
The fronts of the cards show artist drawn representations of a llama and alpaca.
This card was issued overseas by the British American Tobacco Co. Ltd. (B.A.T.) in 1917. It is an unnumbered card from a set of 32 cards known as “Transport of the World”. The front of the card shows an artist drawn representation of Llamas “for draft and saddle”.
