This painting caught my eye in a thrift shop in Chilliwack, BC. It was priced way beyond our two dollar budget so I talked them into taking it out of the frame and just letting me have the painting.
Besides the wonky perspective on the covered bridge, the fact that both the road and the river end at the bridge is quite intriguing. I thought that maybe it was a pond, but a bridge, let alone a covered bridge, going past a pond didn’t make a whole lot of sense.
